In the world many kingdoms have been and some still remain. These kingdoms are however exhibits of the corrupt nature of man where those who are able to have their way indulge themselves to the maximum.
This is in stark difference to the kingdom of God in which He desires all men to be partakers. The culture and government of this kingdom is revealed in God's Word.
“But Jesus called them [apostles] to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles [people in the world] lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:25-28 ESV)
It is clear that in the kingdom of God, it is not survival for the fittest but life for all. It is a place where everyone rules and everyone is governed. It is not about self-satisfaction but of righteousness and peace and joy in the [made possible only by the] Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 ESV)
God the Father is the King of kings (all His subjects are kings and priests).
We are appointed to lead a life which makes a difference for the good of all. What a privilege and honour that the creator of all things has chosen us to be His children.
The way to become a citizen of God's kingdom like in earthly kingdoms is only one; to be born into it.
“Jesus answered Nicodemus, “I can guarantee this truth: No one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit [baptised after believing and pronouncing Jesus Christ as your saviour]. Flesh and blood [human] give birth to flesh and blood [human] but the Spirit gives birth to things that are spiritual [spiritual or heavenly man] John 3:5-6 GW
Will you accept Christ and receive eternal life which He has freely made available?, no payment, fasting, begging because He already paid your ransom with His life to make this possible.
